Bellhaven Pool Company is a fictional business. This page shows the shape a real policy takes on a site of this kind. It is not legal advice and it does not govern any real service.
This policy covers the information this site collects, why it is collected, and how long it is kept. It is written to be read rather than to be defended, so it is shorter than most.
What we collect
The application form asks for a name, an email address, an optional phone number, where you would like to work, and how you heard about us. Nothing on this site asks for a date of birth, a home address, or a payment detail.
Your answers are also saved in your own browser as you type, so you can close the tab and finish later. That copy never leaves your device and you can delete it with the button under the form.
Like most sites, the web host records the usual request information: an IP address, a browser and operating system, which pages were requested and when. It is used to keep the site up and nothing else.
What we do with it
We use what you send to reply to you and to fill the job you applied for. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anybody for marketing.
There is no advertising on this site, no analytics that follow you elsewhere, and no third party script of any kind. The only files the page loads are its own two typefaces and its own image.
Text messages
If you tick the SMS box and give a mobile number, you agree to receive informational text messages from Bellhaven Pool Company LLC about shift scheduling, cover, call-outs and job updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP at any time to stop them and HELP for assistance. Opting out of texts does not affect your application.
Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anybody, for any purpose. Nothing else in this policy overrides that sentence.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. The saved-answers feature uses your browser's local storage, which is not a cookie, is not sent to any server, and is cleared by the button under the form or by clearing site data.
Keeping it
Applications are kept for the season they were sent in and the one after it, so returning guards do not have to start again. Ask us and we will delete yours sooner.
When we would hand something over
Only where the law requires it, or to protect somebody's safety. Not for convenience, and not to a marketing partner, because there are none.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version replaces this page and the date at the bottom changes with it.
